Archiver émerger is a body of works produced along four years of meticulous work of solve and coagula by the stage director Philip Boulay in the district of Sept Arpents, in Paris suburban town Près St. Gervais: Histoires du bout de la Rue Béranger (chansonnier born in 1780 and died in 1857). Boulay’s project, both complex and modest, is based on a strong artistic and ethical approach: being the fibre of a territory. Without the obsession of having to formalise an artwork or a show.
