Opus incertum, the healing process : my journal painted directly on the wall (i’m totally fascinated by the french painter Claude Rutault) or on some papers I find around or on old prints of my pictures. It is depending on how I feel when waking up. But sometimes I write during the night.
I work with my favorite colors : china ink, iron oxide, acrylic black, black or red pastels. The starting point is an healing tape I found and then the gesture of endless writing. The journal is now based on texts, gestures, on erasing on the wall with sandpaper and old brushes, on dust coming from a paper to another, on dust coming from te wall when erasing it. On found plates or iron wire. Everything that could be matter of time. And also aloe vera, lemons, healing plants leaves, infused water. The aloe vera dries in the sun and then it rusts turning red and yellow. I also erase with stones from the Vesuvio. Some papers are covered by dust or small lapilli stones I collect during Vesuvio walks.
Part of papers are scanned, part of them are photographed and so the wall.
